Things change so fast....

So much happens in so little time.... who knew.

Well, I just finished setting up my new wireles router so I can sit on my sofa and do stuf on my laptop. I do have to say this is awesome... I love the freedom.

I also purchased a new car to reneg my deadbeat status. Finally, able to get from point A to point B without asking for help. It is really nice. I would like to thank all those who gave me rides for the last 10+ years or so.

It's a 2006 Pontiac Vibe, dark blue, dark grey interior. Air, Auto and power options.

Just a nice basic vehicle to get around town in.

Getting ready for the fall playoff season for the Golden Hawks. We have the Women's Lacrosse championship next weekend and then Football playoffs the weekend after. Joy.

My New Toy ....

Well here goes my second attempt at doing this post. Stupid back button. I should know by now that I should save anything.

Well, I just got a new flash (Canon 580EX) for my camera. I was getting sick and tired of having to do indoor shoots with no flash and high iso or the crappy flash that comes with my camera.

So here is a new toy for me to play with. I am not sure when I am going to actually use it... but I can already think of several instances when it would have been useful. Hmm lets see... Vanier... Women's hockey championships etc... Hopefully this will make some of those shots look decent. They have been way to dark for too long. Thank God for photoshop.

Here is a fun self portrait... I need to get a cat or dog... so I have something other than myself to take pictures of.

Now I am thinking I need to get a new body that just has the wide angle lens and flash to be like a almost real sports photographer... sigh.

Now to make sure I save this....

Reaching a new low...

Well after watching approximately 2 hrs of NHL preview I did my usual channel surfing and noticed Gilmore Girls.

Now "accidentally" I happened to catch the tail end of last weeks episode. So not I am watching it between channel changing.

I find it mildly disturbing that I am finding the show funny and quirky. It is supposed to be a "chick" show too.... I guess I just need to find some women to watch it with :o)
